Private tuition over skype
Are you looking to develop your personal practice? In these bespoke 1-2-1 sessions, the focus is on YOU and what YOU want to get out from yoga. This may be developing a practice that relaxes you, that will help you to build up core strength or to become more supple, or that provides you with an energising routine.
Or are you maybe looking for an introduction to yoga? If you are a beginner and don’t feel like joining a bigger group without a bit more experience, a 1-2-1 session might be a great way for you to get started. It’s a great way to enquire about movement, the benefits of yoga and your own journey with it. It’s also a great opportunity to explore some of those postures, which you have never felt so sure about. These sessions are all about your yoga.
A 1-2-1 session is suitable for all ages, abilities or if you suffer from injuries or certain chronic conditions. My youngest student is 13, my oldest 80! It’s also a nice opportunity to maybe do something together with your partner, daughter or mum – if there is enough room, I am more than happy to teach two of you at the same time.
Yoga also has many therapeutic benefits, so a 1-2-1 session could help you with any particular issues you may be dealing with. I often work with people building up a toolbox of useful exercises, techniques and short simple sequences they can easily do by themselves. Typical conditions yoga can really help to improve are injuries, back or other joint pain, stress symptoms, insomnia, diseases of the nervous system, but also many others. How it works over skype
These private sessions happen in the comfort of your own home. All you need is a computer with a camera and Skype installed and a decent enough internet connection of course. I always allow an extra 15 mins per session to deal with any potential loss of connection and having to re-connect, but usually, this extra time is not needed.
